Due to an influx of work, our client, located in Naval Base as seeking an experienced FCAW Welder to join their team on a temp basis. This position will involve heavy structural steel fabrication and welding, making it an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who enjoys hands-on workshop work.

The initial assignment is approximately one month, with the potential to extend to three months or longer depending on workload and performance.

Location: Naval Base

Rate of pay: $55/hr Super

Start: Initial 1-month assignment with solid potential for extension

Duration: 1 month

Monday – Saturday: 10 hours/day

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on heavy structural steel components
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks to required specifications
- Work efficiently to meet workshop production requirements
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and weld quality
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment

About You:

- Proven experience with FCAW welding,



ideally within heavy structural steel fabrication
- Ability to produce high-quality, consistent welds
- Previous experience working in a heavy fabrication or industrial workshop
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual and available for an immediate start
