Like helping people and want a job that keeps you moving? NTHA Trainees & Apprentices is looking for a Timber & Building Supplies Trainee to join our host employer, an established trade and hardware centre in Cromer.

You’ll spend most of your time at the trade desk, helping builders and tradies with quotes, orders and product enquiries. You’ll also get hands-on experience with stock, warehousing and dispatch, so you can see how an order goes from the counter to the customer.

What you’ll do:

- Help trade customers with quotes, orders and product enquiries.
- Process sales and learn about timber, hardware and other building supplies.
- Help with stocktakes, replenish stock and keep displays organised.
- Work with the dispatch team to coordinate deliveries and customer pickups.
- Follow safety procedures and help keep the warehouse tidy.

You’ll need:

- An interest in timber, building supplies or warehousing.
- A friendly, professional approach to customers and the ability to work well in a team.
- A willingness to learn, ask questions and take initiative.
- To be comfortable with active, hands-on work.
- Your own transport or access to public transport.
- Full working and study rights in Australia.
