Mechanical Vegetation Solutions Pty Ltd Task and responsibilities will include: Trimming trees and shrubs, and installing plant support and protection devices. Conducting tree inspections to assess their condition and determine treatment. Trim and cross cut fallen trees with chainsaws.

Controlling pests and diseases by using a variety of sprays when required. Operate a chainsaw, chipper, stump grinder, brush-cutter, and other machinery. Perform a reduction prunes for the safety of public and property.

Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and conscientious manner. Conduct tree inspections and risk assessments to evaluate the health, structure, and stability of trees and identify any potential hazards to people or property. Advise on species selection, planting sites, and overall tree management and care in accordance with environmental and landscape requirements.

Plan and execute pruning and maintenance programs, including shaping, crown lifting, thinning, and reduction pruning to maintain tree health and safety. Climb trees using ropes and harnesses or operate elevated work platforms (EWP) to access upper branches safely for pruning or removal tasks. Trim and cross-cut branches and fallen trees using chainsaws and other powered or hand tools to clear debris and maintain safe surroundings.

Remove dead, diseased, or decaying trees and grind stumps using stump grinders, ensuring the site is left clean and safe. Operate and maintain arboricultural equipment and machinery, including chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, brush-cutters, and other tree-care tools. Install tree support systems and protective devices such as cabling, bracing, and staking to safeguard trees and surrounding property.

Control pests and diseases by identifying infestations and applying appropriate sprays or treatments as required.



Clear trees and vegetation around overhead electricity and telecommunications lines in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with industry codes of practice, using appropriate personal protective equipment and risk-management procedures.

Provide technical advice to clients or supervisors on appropriate treatment, maintenance schedules, and safe tree-management practices. Dispose of branches and green waste responsibly, including chipping and mulching for recycling or removal from site.

Our ideal candidate would have: Certificate III in Arboriculture, similar, or a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience Minimum of two years' climbing experience Excellent industry knowledge Excellent communication skills First Aid and Traffic Control tickets desirable MR/HR license desirable MVS works locally in Adelaide and across the Hills districts, however living away for short term work may be required as MVS are well recognized across the state and interstate being awarded projects.
