With an established customer base across Perth and regional Western Australia, we are continuing to grow our operations and are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated HR Truck Driver to join our team. About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on HR Truck Driver to join our Perth operations on a full-time basis. This is a varied position involving the collection, transportation and delivery of scrap metal materials to and from commercial businesses, residential customers and recycling facilities throughout the Perth metropolitan area, with occasional regional work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Operating company HR trucks safely and efficiently.
- Completing scrap metal bin collections, exchanges and deliveries.
- Transporting scrap metal materials between customer sites, our workshop and recycling facilities.
- Safely loading, unloading and securing materials for transport.
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance requirements.
- Maintaining accurate transport documentation and job records.




- Communicating professionally with customers, suppliers and fellow employees.
- Assisting with general workshop operations, material sorting and processing when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following company safety procedures, road transport requirements and workplace policies.

Please note: This is a hands-on position. While truck driving is the primary responsibility, the successful applicant must be willing to assist with manual labour and general workshop duties when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable and can manage their daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Essential Requirements:

- Current and valid HR (Heavy Rigid) licence with synchromesh/manual driving capability.
- Current forklift (LF) licence.
- HIAB and Crane Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy vehicles.
- Experience with loading, unloading and safely securing loads.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Physically capable of performing manual labour duties.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers.
- Excellent time management, reliability and punctuality.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.




- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Full Australian working rights.

Desirable but Not Essential:

- Previous experience in the scrap metal, recycling, waste management or transport industries.
- Experience with skip bin or hook-lift operations.
- Knowledge of Perth metropolitan roads and industrial areas.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and experience using hand or power tools.

Previous scrap metal experience is advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
