responsibilities Driving company trucks to transport and deliver plants, landscaping materials and other goods to customers and designated locations. Loading, securing and unloading goods safely to prevent damage during transportation. Planning delivery routes and coordinating schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Conducting daily pre-start inspections and routine checks of vehicles, including tyres, brakes, lights and fluid levels. Maintaining accurate delivery records, logbooks and relevant transport documentation. Ensuring all goods are correctly loaded, secured and handled in accordance with load restraint and transport safety requirements.

Communicating with warehouse staff, supervisors and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Assisting with loading and unloading activities where required. Reporting vehicle defects, mechanical issues, accidents or delays to management promptly.

Keeping the vehicle clean, maintained and in good operating condition. Following road safety regulations,



workplace health and safety procedures and company policies. Providing professional and courteous service when interacting with customers at delivery locations.

Qualification &

experience Previous experience working as a Truck Driver minimum 1-2 years or in a similar heavy vehicle driving position. A valid and appropriate Australian heavy vehicle driver's licence for the vehicle being operated. Good knowledge of road safety regulations and heavy vehicle operating procedures.

Ability to safely load, secure, transport and unload goods. Understanding of vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks and reporting mechanical defects. Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet delivery schedules.

Ability to follow delivery instructions, maintain records and communicate effectively. Solid attention to detail and commitment to workplace health and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physically capable of assisting with loading and unloading duties where required.
