We are seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Uniform Shop Assistant to support the daily operations of our College Uniform Shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with students and families, values being part of a supportive team, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

Reporting to the Uniform Shop Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the College Uniform Shop. You will assist families with fittings and purchases, prepare online orders, process transactions and support stock management activities, helping students present proudly in the Aranmore uniform.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly and qualified customer service to students, families and staff.
- Assist with uniform fittings, sales, exchanges and refunds.
- Process payments through the point-of-sale system and assist with cash handling duties.
- Prepare and distribute online orders for collection.
- Support stock control, including receiving deliveries, replenishing stock and assisting with stocktakes.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming retail environment.
- Support additional trading periods and College events during busy times throughout the year.

Essential Requirements

- Current Working With Children Check.
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
- Experience in a retail and/or customer service environment.
- Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).
