The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team in a varied, hands-on role. This position involves a mix of warehouse duties—including picking and packing—and time spent at customer and mine sites as our VMI representative replenishing stock levels and maintaining strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with general warehousing duties including receiving, storing, and locating stock
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment
- Replenish and manage stock levels at customer sites including hydraulics and industrial consumables
- Monitor inventory and report stock requirements
- Liaise with customers on-site to ensure service expectations are met
- Deliveries to mines sites, underground and above
- Communicate effectively with branch manager and internal staff members
About You:
- Previous experience in warehouse or storeperson roles preferred
- knowledge of hydraulic hose and fitting advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Ability to manage a varied workload across warehouse and site-based tasks
- Positive attention to detail and organisational skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Basic computer skills
- Full driver's licence is required for this position
- Must have current Australian work rights at the time of application
- Forklift licence preferred
