VR GPs | DIDO Urgent Care Opportunities | Flexible Shifts | South Australia
Hi, I’m Cerys from Urgent Care Network Australia.
We're looking to connect with Vocationally Registered GPs across regional South Australia who are interested in picking up additional urgent care shifts in Adelaide. Driving in and out of Adelaide.
Whether you're looking to supplement your existing practice, increase your income or try a different clinical setting, this could be an opportunity to make it work around your current commitments.
How it works
We're open to discussing flexible arrangements, including planned blocks of shifts across our Elizabeth, Marion, Norwood and Royal Park Urgent Care Centres.
The aim is to make travelling to Adelaide worthwhile, with a roster that suits your availability and existing practice.
What you'll be doing
You'll be treating a range of urgent, non-life-threatening presentations, including:
- Acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Wound management and minor procedures
- Same-day urgent assessments
- Short-term acute care
You'll have experienced, ED-trained nurses and established clinical protocols supporting you, so you can focus on patient care.
Here's what you get
- Competitive remuneration
- Flexible shifts and the chance to discuss block rostering
- No overnight or on-call commitments
- No inpatient responsibilities
- Experienced nursing and operational support
- No lock-in contracts or exclusivity requirements
- The backing of Australia's largest urgent care network
What you'll need
- FRACGP or FACRRM
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current ALS certification, or willingness to obtain and maintain it
- ED, VMO or Urgent Care experience would be an advantage
Let's have a chat You don't need to relocate or leave your current practice to explore this opportunity.
If you're based in regional SA and would be interested in additional urgent care work in Adelaide, get in touch. We can discuss your preferred location, availability and what a potential roster could look like.
No pressure, and completely confidential. Apply now, or get in touch and I’ll tell you more.
