About Highgate Air

Highgate Air supplies mobile air-conditioning parts, tools and refrigerants across Australia to workshops, fleet operators and mining operations. We carry more than 222,000 products and help keep equipment running where downtime isn't an option.





What you'll be doing: refrigerant handling

■ Fill refrigerant cylinders of various sizes with R134a and R1234yf, weighing each fill accurately to specification

■ Decant returned and used refrigerant into reclaim cylinders for responsible recovery

■ Inspect cylinders before filling, checking condition, valves, labels and test dates

■ Manage cylinder returns: receive, inspect, record and return cylinders to stock or service

■ Track every cylinder by serial number, so we know where it is, what's in it and when it's due back

■ Label and segregate cylinders correctly, including flammable R1234yf, under dangerous goods requirements

■ Keep accurate fill, decant and recovery records to meet our ARC and environmental obligations

■ Look after the filling bay, scales and recovery equipment, and report any leaks or faults straight away

What you'll be doing: storeperson duties

Inbound

■ Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, flagging damage or discrepancies

■ Receipt stock into our system and put it away accurately

Outbound

■ Pick and pack orders accurately using RF scanners

■ Label, document and stage consignments for dispatch, including dangerous goods consignments





■ Load and unload trucks, following load restraint and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) procedures

Inventory

■ Handle replenishment, cycle counts and stock adjustments

■ Keep stock locations accurate and the warehouse clean, organised and hazard-free

Equipment and teamwork

■ Safely operate forklifts (counterbalance and high reach)

■ Work with drivers, suppliers, customers and our internal teams

What you'll need

■ A current Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) licence that covers decanting refrigerant, either a restricted decanting licence or a full Refrigerant Handling Licence (essential)

■ A current forklift licence (LF), highly regarded

■ Experience handling compressed gas cylinders or dangerous goods, highly regarded

■ Warehouse or storeperson experience, including RF scanners and stock systems

■ A current Australian driver's licence
