The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, proactive and safety-focused Yard Person / Forklift Operator to join our team at our Albion Park Branch.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised and well-managed yard, works well independently and as part of a team, and brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Working as part of our yard and warehouse team, you will support day-to-day warehouse, dispatch and yard operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed, loaded and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

Your Role In this role, you will:

- Pick, pack, load and unload trucks safely and accurately
- Check paperwork, manifests, dockets and delivery documentation
- Cross-check stock and orders to ensure products are correct
- Deliver and collect building products safely and professionally where required
- Complete load checks and secure loads using approved methods
- Conduct vehicle checks and report faults, maintenance needs or issues
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock
- Prepare goods for dispatch and maintain productive warehouse operations
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard, warehouse and loading area
- Communicate with the Yard Manager regarding stock, delivery or operational issues
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures and requirements

What You'll Need





- Valid forklift licence essential; driver's licence required
- MR licence and HIAB training preferred
- Warehousing, picker/packer or timber industry experience advantageous
- Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail when checking paperwork, stock and orders
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Reliable, skilled and proactive approach to work
- Able to maintain required licences and keep them up to date
