Join a practical and safety-focused yard team, operating a forklift to move long materials such as pipes and support efficient truck loading operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Handle and transport long loads, including pipes and similar materials.
- Load and unload trucks and customer vehicles accurately and safely.
- Position materials securely for storage, dispatch and collection.
- Complete routine equipment checks and report hazards or maintenance issues.
- Assist in stock takes and checks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
What we're looking for
- A current forklift licence.
- Previous experience handling long loads, particularly pipes.
- Experience loading trucks and securing materials safely.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Care and attention to detail when moving and positioning materials.
