About the Company Chandler Macleod is partnering with an established Australian business specialising in the supply and installation of commercial bathroom and washroom solutions.
Based in Beresfield, the business operates across a diverse range of projects, currently managing approximately 30 active projects valued between $40,000 and $1.2 million.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support the project delivery team and ensure materials, equipment and supplies are purchased accurately and delivered on time.
About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day purchasing activities across multiple concurrent projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Raising and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing, confirm availability and coordinate deliveries.
- Monitoring outstanding orders and following up on delivery schedules.
- Working closely with Project Managers to understand purchasing requirements and project deadlines.
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and updating the ERP system.
- Resolving supplier, pricing and delivery discrepancies.
- Supporting inventory coordination and general procurement administration.
- Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing processes and supplier performance.
About You To be successful, you will bring:
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain administration.
- Experience working in construction, manufacturing, engineering or a project-based environment.
- Strong purchase order processing and supplier coordination skills.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems, with NetSuite highly regarded.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence working independently within a busy, collaborative team.
What's on Offer
- $50 per hour + super, inclusive of casual loading.
- Initial six-week temporary assignment, with potential to transition into a permanent role.
- Permanent salary guide of approximately $90,000 + super.
- Full-time hours, 38 hours per week.
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm; Friday, 8:00am–2:00pm.
- Modern Beresfield office and warehouse environment.
