The Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to support an established pipeline of civil infrastructure projects within the renewable energy sector.

The successful candidate will work across a range of projects involving underground excavation stabilisation, rock bolting, slope stabilisation, water supply and wastewater infrastructure.

We are particularly interested in engineers with experience working on dams, water infrastructure, hydro projects or similar civil engineering environments. This is a hands-on role involving project execution support, engineering design input, contractor coordination and regular site travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide civil engineering and project execution support across an existing portfolio of infrastructure projects.
- Support underground excavation stabilisation works, including rock bolting and associated activities.
- Assist with slope stabilisation and remediation projects.
- Contribute to water supply, wastewater and water infrastructure projects.
- Prepare basic engineering designs and technical solutions to facilitate project activities.
- Review engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation.
- Assist with contract administration and management.
- Coordinate contractors, monitor work progress and support delivery against project requirements.
- Undertake site visits and provide engineering support to ensure works are progressing safely and efficiently.
- Liaise with project stakeholders,



contractors and internal engineering teams.

About You

- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Previous experience as a Civil Project Engineer or in a similar project engineering role.
- Experience working on dams, water infrastructure, hydro projects, water supply or wastewater projects is highly desirable.
- Exposure to underground excavation, rock bolting, slope stabilisation or geotechnical works will be highly regarded.
- Experience supporting civil construction and infrastructure project delivery.
- Understanding of engineering design reviews, contract management and contractor coordination.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across office and site environments, including regional locations.
- Must hold a current driver's licence and be willing to travel to project sites.
- Must be willing to relocate or travel to the region for the duration of the contract.
