Senior / Associate Façade Engineer Sydney CBD | Commercial & High-Rise Projects | Project, Client & Team Leadership

An opportunity is available for an experienced Façade Engineer to join a growing specialist consultancy in Sydney CBD. With an exciting pipeline of commercial and high-rise development projects, the team is looking for someone who can lead work confidently, build strong client relationships and help guide its next stage of growth.

The appointment could suit a Senior, Associate or Senior Associate, depending on the technical, commercial and leadership experience you bring. You’ll have meaningful ownership of your projects while working with a close-knit team that values valuable engineering, collaboration and genuine relationships.

The role You’ll lead façade projects from concept and design development through documentation, procurement and construction. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and reviewing façade design solutions, technical specifications, drawings and reports.
- Advising on façade systems, materials, structural performance, weatherproofing, buildability and compliance.
- Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders to resolve design challenges.
- Reviewing technical submissions and shop drawings, and providing advice during procurement and construction.
- Managing project programmes, fees, resources and deliverables, with a clear eye on quality and commercial performance.




- Building trusted relationships with existing clients and contributing to proposals and new opportunities.
- Guiding junior engineers through technical reviews, project decisions and day-to-day mentoring.

At Associate or Senior Associate level, you’ll also play a broader part in shaping how the team delivers projects, develops its people and grows its client base.
About you You’ll have façade engineering experience within a consultancy and a track record of delivering building projects. You’re comfortable making technical decisions, taking responsibility for client communication and keeping projects moving. Experience in commercial or high-rise developments would be particularly relevant.

A competitive salary is on offer, at around $140k for a Senior Engineer, with a higher package available for an Associate or Senior Associate appointment, depending on experience.
