About the Role
We're seeking a hands-on Road Worker with an MR Licence to join a road maintenance crew in Deniliquin.
- Pay: $45.45 per hr + super
- Expected Start: ASAP, pending checks
- Contract End: Until 18 December 2026, possible extension after Christmas
- Expected Hours: 76 hours per fortnight (9-day fortnight)
Key Responsibilities
- Repair potholes and road surfaces
- Maintain guardrails, signs and guideposts
- Assist with traffic control and roadworks
- Operate hand tools, power tools and equipment
- Remove roadside rubbish and debris
- Respond to maintenance call-outs
- Follow safety procedures and team leader instructions
About You
- MR Driver Licence or higher (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Worker's on Foot ticket (essential) or willingness to obtain
- Traffic Control ticket or willingness to obtain
- Civil construction or road maintenance experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Valid unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship is available)
- Willing to undergo a National Police Check and recent employment reference checks
