About Us:

We are currently seeking a capable Building Associate to support our construction team and help coordinate our building projects.

The Role:
As a Building Associate with P&Y; Group, you will work closely with our construction managers, site supervisors, and trades to ensure projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered efficiently. This is a hands-on site coordination role, not a general labouring position, and is suited to someone with construction site experience and a strong understanding of building processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist construction managers and supervisors in the planning and organisation of on-site activities
- Coordinate work programs, including scheduling trades and coordinating material deliveries
- Interpret construction plans, specifications, regulations, and codes of practice




- Calculate costs and assist with estimating time scales for project activities
- Inspect work and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards, and WHS requirements
- Monitor construction timelines, costs, and quality, and report progress to senior staff
- Liaise with builders, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to support efficient project delivery
- Maintain site records and documentation

Requirements:

- Experience in a construction site coordination or supervisory support role
- Understanding of building plans, regulations, and construction processes
- Robust organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree
