Dates & Hours:
Monday 16th November (for one day handover with our locum ) until Thursday 24th December 2026.
Prefer one locum for the full roster, but will consider a locum who can work min of 2 weeks.

The shifts will be 7.hrs each Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) with 1hr for lunch. Roster will be provided to the successful locum (but hours will be between 8am and 6pm weekdays only with one hour lunch).

Job Specification:

You will be working in the inpatient dispensary as part of a team of pharmacists and technicians who manage supply of medications to all clinical areas of Mater Hospitals at South Brisbane - Mater Mothers' Hospitals. Mater Public and Mater Private Hospitals.





You will be involved in all activities required for the day-to-day running of the inpatient dispensary as part of a team of pharmacists and technicians as well as providing the final check for assembled medications that have been dispensed by ward pharmacists and respond to requests from procedural areas, clinics and Hospital in the Home.

You will be provided with training in the dispensing system (Merlin) and orientation to the various dispensary roles.

There is potential for someone with hospital experience to also work on some days as the ward pharmacist in some clinical areas

Experience Required:
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA). (copy of Certificate required).
* Previous hospital experience (highly desirable) but not essential.
* Locums also need to provide their HPI-1 Number.

Salary & Perks: (Paid by Raven's).
Weekdays $70/hr +Super
No travel/No tolls.
