The Role

As the Restoration Technician for the Gold Coast region, you will be responsible for managing and carrying out restoration works across a variety of residential insurance claims.

You will largely operate independently in the field, with the support of an established internal team who will assist with job coordination, scheduling and administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Attending residential properties to assess water, fire, mould and other damage.

- Carrying out water extraction, structural drying, mould remediation and general restoration works.

- Setting up, monitoring and removing drying equipment.

- Conducting moisture readings and documenting drying progress.

- Preparing detailed reports, photos and job documentation.

- Liaising with homeowners, insurance stakeholders and internal Case Managers.

- Managing your daily workload and coordinating site attendance with the scheduling team.

- Ensuring all restoration works are completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Restoration Technician within the insurance restoration industry - essential.

- IICRC certifications highly regarded,



particularly WRT and ASD.

- Strong knowledge of water damage restoration, structural drying and moisture monitoring.

- Confidence working independently and managing your own workload.

- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with homeowners.

- Solid reporting and documentation skills.

- A current driver's licence.
