The Opportunity

An established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing construction team, overseeing the delivery of new-build commercial projects across Melbourne.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects in the $10M-$15M range, working with an experienced team and playing a key role in delivering quality projects safely, on time and within budget.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in commercial construction who has successfully managed new-build projects and is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a site.

Key Responsibilities

- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of commercial construction projects.

- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades and site personnel.

- Manage site programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.

- Maintain high standards of site safety, quality control and workmanship.

- Oversee site logistics, sequencing, procurement and resource allocation.

- Work closely with Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors to resolve site issues.

- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential delays or construction challenges.

- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with drawings,



specifications and contractual requirements.

About You

- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the commercial construction industry.

- Demonstrated experience delivering new-build commercial projects valued around $10M-$15M.

- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and site coordination.

- Confident managing subcontractors, trades and site teams.

- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

- A proactive approach to site safety, quality and programme management.

- Relevant construction qualifications and current industry tickets/licences.

- Currently based in Melbourne's northern or western suburbs, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
