About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Curriculum Leader Assistant - Geography to join our Secondary Years team.

This is a middle leadership chance for an experienced Geography educator who is passionate about curriculum excellence, high-quality teaching, and student achievement. Working as part of a highly professional teaching team, you will contribute to curriculum delivery, student wellbeing and the ongoing mission of excellence in teaching and learning across the Secondary School.

- Location: Indooroopilly, Brisbane
- Start Date: Term 1 2027
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Tenure: 3 Years with a permanent teaching position

What You Bring

- A relevant qualification in Education and specific qualification in Geography
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography in a Secondary school setting.
- Experience collaborating with and influencing colleagues to foster a positive, high-trust and improvement-focused team culture.
- Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements within a secondary school environment.
- Knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning and assessment practices that support diverse student needs.
- Strong classroom management, organisation and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.
