We have an opportunity for an experienced Driver Performance Coordinator to join our team based in Sunshine West, Victoria.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing driver capability, assessing competency, promoting secure work practices, and supporting performance standards across our national heavy vehicle fleet. Working closely with drivers, operational leaders and site management, you will help ensure our drivers have the skills, knowledge and support required to operate safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.

This position is based at our Sunshine West, VIC facility and offers the opportunity to work across our national transport network, with regular travel to our depots in Mount Gambier, Adelaide, Perth and Launceston.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver and develop driver induction, training and competency programs

- Conduct driver assessments and on-road evaluations for new and existing employees

- Monitor driver performance and identify opportunities for coaching and improvement

- Support compliance with NHVR, fatigue management and mass management requirements

- Investigate and address driver performance, safety and compliance trends

- Assist leaders to maintain consistent driver standards across all locations

- Maintain driver competency records and training documentation

- Promote a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement

About You





To succeed in this role, you will have:

- A current MC Licence with significant heavy vehicle driving experience

- Experience operating B-Double and road train combinations (desirable)

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent

- Strong knowledge of NHVR legislation, fatigue management and mass management requirements

- Experience assessing driver competency and coaching performance improvements

- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong organisational and time management abilities

- The ability to influence safe behaviours and drive high standards across a diverse workforce
