We have an opportunity for an experienced Driver Performance Coordinator to join our team based at our St Marys facility. In this role, you will be responsible for developing driver capability, assessing competency, promoting protected work practices, and supporting performance standards across our national heavy vehicle fleet.
Working closely with drivers, operational leaders and site management, you will help ensure our drivers have the skills, knowledge and support required to operate safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Delivering and developing driver induction, training and competency programs
- Conducting driver assessments and on-road evaluations for new and existing employees
- Monitoring driver performance and identifying opportunities for coaching and improvement
- Supporting compliance with NHVR, fatigue management and mass management requirements
- Investigating and addressing driver performance, safety and compliance trends
- Assisting leaders to maintain consistent driver standards across all locations
- Maintaining driver competency records and training documentation
- Promoting a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
This position is based in Somersby and requires regular travel to our transport depots at Somersby and Oberon.
