As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and safety-focused HC/MC Licence / Road Train Driver to join our team. The role
- Run semi/multi-combination vehicles, including B-doubles and road trains, on [local / regional / interstate] routes
- Load, unload, restrain and secure freight to Load Restraint Guide standards
- Do pre-start and post-trip vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Keep accurate work diaries and comply with Heavy Vehicle National Law and fatigue management rules
- Complete delivery paperwork, consignment notes and electronic logging (EWD/telematics)
- Talk clearly with dispatch,
customers and site staff about delivery times and any problems
- Follow all company WHS, Chain of Responsibility and site safety procedures
What you need
- A current Australian MC (Multi-Combination) licence
- At least 3 years’ experience driving heavy vehicles, including road train or multi-combination configurations
- A clean driving record. You must give us a current driver history report
- Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Sound knowledge of fatigue management, load restraint and heavy vehicle compliance
- Reliability, punctuality and a solid safety focus
- Willingness to do [early starts / overnight or multi-day trips / weekend work] as needed
