We're growing at a rapid rate. Due to new projects commencing, we are seeking an experienced and capable Traffic Controller to look after one of our new sites.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Implement and maintain traffic control plans (TCPs) at construction sites
- Safely direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic in and around the worksite
- Use stop/slow bats and approved signage to manage traffic flow
- Set up, maintain and pack down traffic control devices, signage and barriers
- Coordinate site deliveries, trucks, concrete pumps and crane movements with the site team
- Maintain safe exclusion zones around plant, machinery and lifting operations
- Communicate clearly with drivers, site personnel and members of the public
- Monitor site conditions and adjust traffic arrangements as directed
- Identify and report hazards, incidents and near misses promptly
- Comply with all WHS legislation, site rules and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Wear and maintain required PPE and high-visibility clothing at all times
- Complete daily records, checklists and site documentation as required




- Maintain a qualified manner when dealing with the public and stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

- Current SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training (TCWT) card, including Traffic Controller (stop/slow bat) and Implement Traffic Control Plans (ITCP) classes
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Prepare a Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (PWZ) class (desirable)
- Current Provide First Aid certificate - HLTAID011 (desirable)
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Strong verbal communication skills
- High level of safety awareness and attention to detail
- Physically fit, with the ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
- Punctual and reliable, with availability for early starts and Saturdays as required
