Supply and Distribution Manager

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee and coordinate our supply chain activities, ensuring the efficient movement of goods from procurement through to storage and final delivery.

What you will do:

- Develop, implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies to support DNL Food Group's meat-processing and supply operations, ensuring the timely availability and delivery of products.

- Plan and coordinate inventory requirements, maintaining appropriate stock levels of raw materials, packaging supplies and finished meat products while minimising storage costs and wastage.

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate purchasing arrangements and coordinate supply agreements to ensure materials and products meet required quality, cost and delivery standards.

- Monitor and review inventory management and storage systems, ensuring stock levels are accurately maintained and that meat products are stored under appropriate temperature-controlled conditions.





- Oversee inventory recording systems to track the movement of incoming supplies, processed meat products and outgoing orders, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate stock records.

- Coordinate the storage, handling, dispatch and transportation of finished products, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered within agreed timeframes while maintaining appropriate cold-chain requirements.

- Liaise with production, warehouse, sales and other relevant departments to forecast supply requirements, coordinate order fulfilment and resolve issues affecting the availability or distribution of products.

- Oversee the recording and administration of purchasing, inventory, storage and distribution transactions, maintaining accurate operational documentation and reporting.

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse, inventory and distribution personnel, allocating responsibilities, monitoring performance and ensuring operational efficiency.

- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce operational costs, minimise product losses and enhance the overall efficiency of storage and distribution activities.

- Ensure supply, storage and distribution operations comply with relevant food safety, workplace health and safety requirements and applicable business procedures.

What you should have:

- A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,



Business Management or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience in supply chain, inventory, warehousing or distribution management, preferably within the food processing, meat or food wholesale industry.

- Strong knowledge of purchasing, stock control, warehousing and distribution processes.

- Experience coordinating suppliers, transportation providers and internal operational teams.

- Understanding of inventory management systems and stock recording procedures.

- Knowledge of food safety requirements and temperature-controlled storage and transportation practices.

- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with different departments and external stakeholders.
