About the role

Mollymook Golf Club is seeking talented Cooks and Chefs to join our culinary team on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting at our prestigious location in Mollymook Beach, NSW. As a Cook or Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. This position offers flexibility with casual working arrangements, allowing you to balance work with other commitments whilst contributing your culinary skills to a well-established club.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with club standards and recipes

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen stations and equipment

- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols consistently

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service

- Assist with menu development and food preparation planning

- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management

- Respond to feedback and adapt cooking techniques to meet evolving requirements

- Support senior kitchen staff and contribute to training junior team members where appropriate

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a hospitality setting, preferably within a club or similar establishment

- Solid knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and presentation techniques

- Current or willingness to obtain relevant food safety and hygiene certifications

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency in food quality

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment





- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required

- A passion for delivering excellent dining experiences

- Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management is advantageous
