A permanent/part time (Monday to Friday) position is available at Urban Education Gold Creek for a passionate nutrition enthusiast (cook/Chef) to deliver specialist quality menus for ‘growing bodies’ and opportunities to experience nutrition that is essential to having a healthy lifestyle.
Role requirements include - impeccable hygiene, food safe practices and standards. Love the kitchen as your own and produce a quality menu for our mini humans! Must be willing to learn and understand the requirements of providing a menu that is adaptable to suit individual and large group dietary requirements of a vulnerable population.
Would consider school hours if preferred pending individual requirements but typically 8:00am to 3:00pm 5 days per week.
The successful candidate will work with the team and families to educate and encourage our mini humans through programmed and planned experiences to take greater responsibility for their health, hygiene and personal care as well as the safety of themselves and others around them!
Must have an authentic LOVE and PASSION to work with, and care, for mini humans and be a part of an AMAZING team! Must have impeccable hygiene and understand the role requires a high level of health and safety procedures, and must have a want to learn and grow as an individual!
All training provided to right candidate!
Additional Requirements - Working with Vulnerable People Card, ACT (WWVP) and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (can be provided if needed).
