Golden House Vietnamese & Chinese Restaurant is seeking a passionate, reliable and experienced Cook to join our team in Springfield Lakes.**Key Responsibilities:**- Prepare and cook a variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes.- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation and consistency.- Check ingredients for quality and freshness.- Prepare meals according to customer dietary requirements.- Manage kitchen tasks efficiently during busy service periods.- Maintain a clean,



organised and hygienic kitchen.- Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.- Assist the chef with menu planning and development.**Requirements:**- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.- At least 1 year of experience working as a Cook in a commercial restaurant or similar environment.- Strong cooking and food preparation skills.- Knowledge of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine and ingredients.- Experience with wok cooking.- Valuable knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.- Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills.- Attention to detail and a passion for cooking.- Availability to work weekends.**How to Apply:**Please submit your resume and details of your relevant qualifications and cooking experience through Workforce Australia.
