Silk Hospitality is seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our leadership team supporting housekeeping operations at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth.

About the Role

As Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will be a key member of the housekeeping leadership team, supporting the Executive Housekeeper with the day-to-day operation of the department.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will be visible on the floor, supporting and developing your team, monitoring quality and productivity, and ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the exceptional standards expected within a luxury hotel.

You will also have the opportunity to build your capability across workforce planning, recruitment, training, performance management and departmental operations, making this an excellent next step for an ambitious housekeeping leader.





What You'll Do

- Lead and support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas
- Coach, motivate and develop a large and diverse housekeeping team
- Step into the department leadership role when the Executive Housekeeper is absent
- Drive consistently high standards through regular room and public-area inspections
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and succession planning
- Assist with rostering, workforce planning, productivity and payroll processes
- Monitor daily operational performance and respond quickly to changing hotel requirements
- Resolve guest concerns professionally, positively and with a strong service mindset
- Work closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other hotel departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Support inventory management, stock control and the ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Champion a positive, inclusive and safety-focused team culture

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a confident hospitality leader who understands that luxury housekeeping is about more than immaculate rooms. It is about consistency, attention to detail, teamwork and genuine care for the guest experience.

You will ideally bring:

- Previous experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper,



Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping leader within a 4-star or 5-star hotel
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a high-volume housekeeping team
- Robust knowledge of housekeeping operations, room quality standards and productivity management
- Experience with rostering, workforce planning and day-to-day operational coordination
- A strong eye for detail and a passion for exceptional presentation standards
- Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills
- The ability to remain organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced hotel environment
- A hands-on leadership style and the confidence to lead from the floor
- A genuine commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful and high-performing workplace
