We welcome applications from experienced chefs and cooks, current apprentices, and people keen to start a commercial cookery apprenticeship. Whether you bring established kitchen skills or enthusiasm to learn, we’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.
Our venue opens Wednesday to Sunday. The role offers 3–4 days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, with predominantly lunch service and occasional evening functions.
About the role
Depending on your experience and stage of training, you will:
- Prepare and cook dishes to our recipes and presentation standards
- Help organise preparation and keep lunch service running smoothly
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen
- Follow food safety procedures, including correct storage and stock rotation
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Assist with occasional evening functions
- Develop your skills and contribute ideas as you grow in the role
Experienced applicants will be expected to manage their section confidently, while apprentices will develop these skills through training and supervision.
About you
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays, plus weekday shifts
- Willing to work occasional evening functions
- Reliable, organised and ready to contribute to the team
- Interested in food quality, presentation and hospitality
- Able to communicate clearly and respond positively to feedback
Experienced chefs and cooks should have relevant qualifications or solid professional kitchen experience. Current apprentices and those looking to begin an apprenticeship should bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a commitment to completing their training.
