Job Description
VMware Consultant

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement standard VMware solutions
- Lead small projects or workstreams
- Manage VMware infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking
- Handle cluster configurations and performance tuning
- Support hybrid/cloud-based VMware environments




- Create and maintain technical documentation Required

Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere
- Solid understanding of HA, DRS, lifecycle management
- Experience with distributed switches and NIC teaming
- Storage knowledge including SAN/NAS and VMware vSAN
- Exposure to VMware NSX (basic to intermediate)
- Backup/DR solutions and cloud platforms (VMware Cloud, Azure VMware Solution, etc.) Troubleshooting

Skills:
- Diagnose CPU, memory, and storage performance issues
- Resolve cluster, host, and network configuration issues
- Log analysis and root cause identification Certifications:
- VCP (mandatory), working towards VCAP preferred Additional Notes:

- Robust ownership of assigned tasks/projects
