Position Overview

MyHelp Support Services is seeking a reliable, hardworking and physically capable casual Cleaner to provide in-home cleaning services within an apartment building.

This position offers 6 hours per week, spread across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with flexible start times to suit the successful applicant.

The role includes general household cleaning, maintaining a hygienic living environment and cleaning cat litter trays as part of the regular cleaning duties.

Employment Details

- Position: Casual Cleaner
- Hours: 6 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – 2 hours per day
- Time of day: Flexible
- Location: In-home cleaning within an apartment building
- Cleaning supplies: All cleaning equipment and supplies provided onsite

Key Responsibilities

- General household cleaning and maintaining a clean, hygienic living environment.
- Vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Dusting surfaces, furniture and fixtures.
- Cleaning bathrooms, showers and toilets.
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, benches and appliances as required.
- Wiping down cupboards and frequently touched surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish appropriately.
- Cleaning and maintaining cat litter trays, including removing waste, replacing litter as required and keeping the surrounding area clean and hygienic.
- Safely disposing of cat litter waste and maintaining appropriate hygiene practices.




- Maintaining a consistent and thorough cleaning routine.
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and appropriately.

Essential Requirements

- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Robust attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness.
- Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.
- Must be physically capable of safely walking up and down stairs regularly, as the property is located within an apartment building.
- Able to manage physical cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable cleaning and maintaining cat litter trays.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the household.
