We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Prep Assistant to join our small team at Chickmagnet in Rye!
What you'll be doing:
- Dry brining fresh chickens
- Preparing and stuffing chickens with rice
- Skewering chickens onto rotisserie rods
- Keeping your prep area clean and organised
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
The details:
Rye, Mornington Peninsula
Approximately 3 hours per shift
Around 4 shifts per week
Potential for additional hours as we head into the busy summer season
Must be available across weekdays and weekends
Casual position, paid at applicable award rates
Who we're looking for:
Someone reliable, organised, productive and comfortable handling raw chicken.
Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential. We're happy to train the right person!
A Food Handling Certificate is required, with an opportunity to complete the necessary training if you don't already have one.
