About the Role - We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Field Service Technician to join the 7 Grams Coffee team. In this role, you will be the frontline technical expert supporting our commercial and domestic coffee equipment across various client locations. Key Responsibilities:

- Field Support & Travel: Drive to various client locations across Victoria to perform in office servicing, preventative maintenance, and emergency fault call-outs

- Diagnostics & Repair: Identify, troubleshoot, modify, and repair intricate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in commercial machinery

- Installation & Testing: Coordinate and execute equipment installations, testing machine stability, pressure systems, and electrical safety

- Electrical System Testing: Conduct rigorous electrical and control tests on machinery and associated systems to ensure peak operational standards

- Maintenance Compliance: Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance programs are strictly adhered to and documented

Skills & Requirements:





- Technical Qualifications: Electrical technician certificate, trade qualification, or proven hands-on experience in electronics, instrumentation, or appliance repair

- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in a technical field service or workshop role

- Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and provide unique solutions for complex, high-end machinery

- Industry Knowledge: A general understanding of coffee mechanics, brewing systems, or commercial espresso equipment is highly regarded

- Digital Literacy: Comfortable utilizing smartphones, tablets, and computers for work scheduling, logging job outcomes, and communication

- Fitness & Mobility: Comfortable with long periods of driving and mobile fieldwork

- Soft Skills: Excellent time management, reliable work ethic, and clear, efficient communication skills to collaborate smoothly with the rest of the team and clients

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
