I need a unicorn.

I'm Eugene, founder of The Sneaker Laundry. We've cleaned over 150,000 sneakers and sold over 200,000 care products worldwide. Stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Riyadh, Bangkok, Doha, Peru and Lebanon, and a cafe brand attached to them that is growing faster than the sneakers ever did. Five stores becoming nine. We're not a sneaker shop. We're Australia's sneaker care movement, and we're just getting started.

This role sits next to me. Not inside a marketing department, because there isn't one. You and me.

The first job is to get everything there is to get out of our e-commerce channel. The second is to run the wildest marketing the Australian cafe scene has ever seen. Recent stores to launch. New drinks to launch. Media buyers, an Amazon manager, content creators and store teams already in place, all waiting for someone to point them at something.

I don't care where you learned it. Maybe you did it at your last job and they still haven't replaced you. Maybe you ran your own side hustle and it worked. Maybe it didn't work and you learned more than the people whose did. Maybe you finished uni last year with no track record but a ridiculous work ethic.

What I care about is proof.



Show me a campaign you made happen and what it actually did. The thing that went viral. The launch that sold out. The number that moved because you moved it. Credentials don't interest me. Evidence does.

Here's what's unusual about this one. I'm hiring one person, so I'll build the role around whoever that person turns out to be. Not in the same state as our stores? I'll fly you in when you want. Want to work remote? Set your own hours? Flexible leave arrangements? Tell me what you need and I'll tell you what I need, and we'll find it.

Don't just send me a resume and a cover letter about your passion for brands. Send me proof you're my ecommerce wizard. Send me the campaign you're proudest of and what it did, the wildest idea you'd run for a sneaker shop with a cafe inside it, and why it has to be you.

If it isn't going to be impressive, don't send it.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
