True Smile Dental Laboratory is a modern, fully digital dental laboratory in Ormond, Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Dental Technician with strong CAD/CAM design skills to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design crowns, bridges and implant-supported restorations using dental CAD software.
- Review digital scans and prescriptions to assess case requirements.
- Ensure accurate restoration contours, margins, contacts and occlusion.
- Prepare design files for milling and 3D printing.
- Identify design or scan issues and communicate them to the team.
- Collaborate with other technicians to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Dental Technology.
- At least three years of experience working as a Dental Technician.
- Experience working in an Australian dental laboratory.
- At least three years of experience in dental CAD design.
- Proficiency in dental CAD/CAM software and digital workflows.
- Experience designing crowns, bridges and implant-supported restorations.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion and restorative materials.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
