About the Role

Comfort Home Care is seeking caring, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our team.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to provide domestic assistance and community participation support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

The position offers shifts between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, seven days a week, including weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Domestic Assistance

- Perform light household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
- Assist with laundry and general household organisation.
- Maintain a clean, protected and hygienic home environment.
- Follow clients' preferences and individual support requirements.

Community Participation

- Support clients to access the local community.
- Accompany clients to shopping centres, appointments and social activities.
- Encourage participation in recreational and community activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Promote independence, confidence and social inclusion.
- Support clients to achieve their individual goals.

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, domestic assistance or a similar role.
- A compassionate,



patient and respectful approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow support plans.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, where required.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- National Police Check, where required.

Desirable

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care.
- Previous experience providing domestic assistance and community participation.
- Current driver's licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle, where required for client transport.
