We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and motivated Warehouse Hand / Forklift Operator to join our established warehouse team in Acacia Ridge, QLD.

This is initially a casual position with the potential to transition into permanent full-time employment, dependent on demonstrated ability, reliability and overall performance.

We are looking for someone who is confident on a forklift, takes pride in their work and can hit the ground running in a busy warehouse environment.

About the Role

Working within our warehouse operating hours of 6:00am – 4:00pm, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement and storage of a diverse range of customer products.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Safely and efficiently operating forklifts in a busy warehouse environment.
- Loading and unloading trucks,



trailers and shipping containers.
- Confidently handling a wide variety of freight, including different pallet configurations, product sizes, weights and load types.
- Ensuring freight is loaded, unloaded and positioned safely to prevent damage.
- Receiving, checking and dispatching stock accurately.
- Picking and packing customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
- Assisting with stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory management.
- Identifying and reporting damaged stock, shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Following all workplace health and safety, food safety and company procedures.
- Supporting the broader warehouse team with general duties as required.

About You

We are looking for an experienced forklift operator who is comfortable working independently, uses initiative and understands the importance of secure and accurate freight handling.

To be considered, you must have:

- A current and valid LF Forklift Licence – essential.
- A minimum of 2 years’ practical forklift operating experience – essential.
- Proven experience loading and unloading trucks with a diverse range of freight and load configurations.




- Confidence handling different types of stock safely and efficiently.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, transport or distribution environment.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to preventing product damage.
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- The ability to safely undertake manual handling and general warehouse duties.
- A reliable work ethic, punctuality and a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems will be highly regarded.
