We are seeking a skilled, reliable and dedicated Panel Beater to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Salary range: $80,000 -$100,000 per annum (based on your skillset and experience)

Your job duties will include but are not limited to:

· Inspect vehicles to assess collision damage, identify affected body panels and determine suitable repair techniques and replacement requirements.

· Remove damaged panels, bumpers, trims, interior fittings and other vehicle components to access areas requiring body repairs.

· Repair dents and damaged body panels using specialised panel beating tools, hammering techniques and appropriate metalworking equipment.

· Straighten and realign damaged vehicle frames, body panels and structural components using mechanical and hydraulic straightening equipment.

· Remove severely damaged sections and replace them with suitable new or second-hand panels while maintaining correct structural alignment.

· Perform cutting, welding and joining operations to securely attach replacement panels and restore damaged vehicle body sections.

· Repair damaged metal, fibreglass and plastic body components using appropriate techniques to restore their original shape and functionality.

· Apply body fillers to damaged surfaces and perform filing, grinding and sanding to achieve smooth and even finishes.

· Carry out paintless dent removal where appropriate,



using specialised tools to restore minor dents without damaging existing paintwork.

· Reassemble repaired vehicle components, including doors, bonnets, guards, locks and trims, ensuring correct fitting, alignment and functionality.

· Prepare repaired vehicle panels for painting by removing surface imperfections, smoothing repaired areas and ensuring suitable surface conditions.

· Inspect completed body repairs to verify structural alignment, repair quality and workmanship while maintaining workshop safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

· At least Certificate III or IV in Automotive Body Repair Technology, or equivalent or extensive experience and advanced skills can substitute the requirement of qualification.

· At least two years of work experience as a panel beater

· At least two years of work experience in a similar role in Australia

The successful candidate must have the following:

· Proficiency in vehicle panel beating and collision damage repairs.

· Experience in dent removal, panel straightening and reshaping.

· Ability to operate specialised panel beating tools and equipment.

· Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

· Knowledge of vehicle body structures and repair techniques.

· Good teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining workplace safety standards.

· You have full-time work rights and are available to work on weekends as well.
