You’ll lead Kanda’s Disability operations across the state, with full accountability for service quality, financial performance and growth. You’ll shape the business plan and budget, build new referral relationships with stakeholders, lead tender responses, and guide the Service Development & Regional Managers who bring it all to life each day. It’s a senior role where strategy and delivery meet, and where robust care and strong commercial results are expected to go hand in hand.

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity covering a secondment, and you can be based in Rockhampton, Mackay or Brisbane. For the right leader, it’s a chance to make a real mark on how Kanda delivers disability services across Queensland.

What you’ll be doing

- Developing and delivering the Disability operational business plan and budget
- Overseeing rostering and service delivery so participants get continuity of care and the business keeps healthy margins
- Planning for workforce optimisation, controlling overheads and improving efficiency across our Disability systems and processes
- Making sure we meet all NDIS Quality and Safeguarding standards and staying across changes to awards, legislation and funding body pricing
- Leading business development with Support Coordination and Plan Manager businesses, funding bodies and other contacts to build new referral sources
- Leading tender responses and working with the Marketing Manager and Service Development Managers on sales plans and promotion
- Coaching and developing your people,



identifying future leaders and building a culture where learning is encouraged
- Forecasting monthly, spotting revenue and margin gaps early, and putting plans in place to meet budget

You’re the right person if...

- You have proven experience in a senior management role within the disability, healthcare or community services sector
- You have comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS framework and its application within Queensland
- You have strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to manage and develop high performing teams
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- You bring strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of achieving business growth and operational efficiency
- You hold an Advanced Diploma or higher in Human Services or a related field and/or have relevant industry experience
