About the Role

Quayclean is currently seeking reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Casual Cleaning Staff to join our team at The Gabba Stadium, Brisbane, for the 2026/2027 Cricket and AFL Event Season.

We are recruiting staff for both Event Cleaning and Post-Event Cleaning positions, with flexible shifts available during weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays.

This is a great opportunity to work in one of Brisbane's most iconic sporting venues and become part of a professional and supportive team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Event Cleaning Staff

- Maintain cleanliness throughout the stadium during live sporting events and functions.
- Clean and maintain public toilets, concourses, seating areas and corporate facilities.
- Empty rubbish bins and manage general waste and recycling.
- Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests.




- Ensure all public areas remain clean, safe and presentable.

Post-Event Cleaning Staff

- Complete general cleaning duties following sporting events and functions.
- Clean stadium seating areas, aisles, concourses and public facilities.
- Collect rubbish, replace bin liners and empty waste bins.
- Clean and sanitise toilets and other allocated areas.
- Assist with pressure washing, scrubbing and other cleaning tasks when required.
- Prepare the stadium for upcoming events.

Requirements

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to follow workplace health and safety procedures.
