We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Recycling Pickers / Sorters to join a busy recycling facility in Seaford Heights.

Working within a modern recycling plant, you will be responsible for manually sorting recyclable materials, removing contamination from conveyor lines and helping keep the facility clean, safe and running efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Sort recyclable materials moving along conveyor lines

- Identify and remove incorrect or contaminated materials

- Monitor recycling and sorting lines during operation

- Assist with safely clearing minor blockages where required

- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping around the facility

- Sweep, hose and clean sorting and processing areas

- Remove waste and debris from operational areas

- Report equipment faults, hazards or safety concerns to supervisors

- Assist with general labouring and operational duties as required

- Follow all site safety procedures and wear required PPE

Your Profile

- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle – essential

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

- Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work





- Physically fit and able to work on your feet throughout the shift

- Comfortable working around recycling materials, machinery, noise and dust

- Valuable safety awareness and ability to follow instructions

- Able to work effectively as part of a team

- Previous recycling, process work, warehouse, production, labouring or waste-management experience is advantageous but not essential

This is a hands-on role within an industrial recycling facility. You will be working as part of a team responsible for ensuring recyclable materials are correctly sorted and contaminants are removed before materials continue through the processing plant via conveyor belts.
