We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and passionate Lead / Experienced Baker to join our friendly, close-knit team.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced baker who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working with quality ingredients and is passionate about producing consistently excellent baked goods. You will play an important role in our daily baking operations, taking responsibility for production while providing guidance and support to other team members as needed.

About the Role

Working alongside our existing team and management, you will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day baking and production of our products, ensuring quality, consistency and efficiency.

Your duties will include:

- Preparing, mixing, shaping and baking a variety of bakery products
- Taking responsibility for daily baking and production requirements
- Following recipes and established processes to ensure consistent product quality
- Planning and prioritising baking tasks to meet daily production needs
- Monitoring product quality, appearance and consistency
- Preparing ingredients and ensuring everything is ready for production
- Monitoring stock levels and advising management of ingredient and supply requirements




- Minimising waste and ensuring ingredients are stored and rotated correctly
- Providing guidance and support to other team members where required
- Sharing ideas and making recommendations to improve products, processes and production efficiency
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace cleanliness
- Keeping the bakery clean, organised and running efficiently
- Assisting with general bakery duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has proven experience as a baker in a commercial bakery or similar environment
- Has strong practical baking skills and a sound understanding of baking techniques and processes
- Takes pride in producing high-quality products with consistency and attention to detail
- Can work independently and confidently manage daily baking requirements
- Is organised, efficient and able to prioritise tasks in a busy production environment
- Has a proactive attitude and takes ownership of their work
- Can provide guidance and support to other team members when needed
- Communicates well and works collaboratively with colleagues and management
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Understands the importance of food safety,



hygiene and maintaining a clean workspace
- Is comfortable with the physical demands of a hands-on baking role, including standing for extended periods
- Is keen to contribute ideas and help maintain and improve our products and processes

Hours & Availability

- Employment type and weekly hours to be discussed with the successful applicant
- Weekday shifts, with start and finish times based on production requirements
- No night shifts, earliest start time 6am
- Flexibility to meet daily production needs is important
