Casual Bartender

American Hotel Echuca

We’re looking for a friendly, people-focused Casual BARTENDER to join the team at the American Hotel Echuca.

This role is firmly centred on outstanding customer service. Product knowledge is of a excellent assistance to the role, or willingness to learn as you go.

About the role

- Don't just bartend, provide a friendly & hospitable service
- Provide assistance and information to guests, drawing on your product knowledge to provide helpful recommendations
- Help create a relaxed, enjoyable setting
- Work as part of a supportive team in a busy, well-known local venue

Pay: Level 2 of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (casual rates apply, including penalty rates for evenings, weekends and public holidays).

Who we’re looking for

- Naturally friendly and outgoing – you enjoy chatting and connecting with people
- Strong focus on customer service and creating a positive guest experience
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently




- Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
- Current RSA preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Available for casual shifts, including evenings and weekends (weekends are a must)
- Someone who is able to work late nights, sometimes through to 4AM
