Barista – Nectar Espresso, North Burleigh

Nectar Espresso, our vibrant beachside café at North Burleigh, is looking for an experienced Barista to join our growing team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-quality, fast-paced café environment, where great coffee, excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are at the heart of everything we do.

About You

You are passionate about coffee, take pride in delivering consistently great coffee and enjoy creating a positive experience for every customer. You thrive in a busy workplace, are confident working independently and as part of a team, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to every shift.

Availability across both morning and afternoon shifts is essential for this position. We are looking for someone with flexible availability who can support the café across different service periods, particularly afternoon trade, as well as morning operations.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a Barista, with strong coffee-making skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Availability across both morning and afternoon shifts.
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume café environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in café cleanliness and presentation.
- A positive attitude, professional presentation and a team-first approach.

- Casual position with a rotating 7-day roster.

About Us

Nectar Espresso is located at the southern end of North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Supporters Club, offering a fantastic beachfront working environment in a friendly, local atmosphere.

We are a busy, growing café with a strong focus on quality, service and creating a great experience for our customers.

Our operating hours are 4:30am to 9:30pm, seven days a week. As such, flexibility across our operating hours is important, and successful applicants must be available to work a combination of morning and afternoon shifts.
