Red Bucket Investing is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team for casual work opportunities in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. FIFO and DIDO.
This is a outstanding opportunity for a motivated, safety-focused tradesperson with experience in heavy mobile plant and mining equipment maintenance.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel equipment, CAT & Komatsu
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site safety.
- Work collaboratively with site personnel and maintenance teams.
- Field and workshop opportunities.
Skills & Requirements
- Trade-qualified Electrician.
- Previous experience working on heavy mobile plant and mining equipment.
- Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Current driver's licence.
- Relevant mining tickets and site experience highly regarded.
- PREFERABLE: Current mine site inductions
- PREFERABLE: Coal Board Medically Certified.

Pay: $70.00 – $77.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 87.5 per week
