Instrumentation Supervisor - FIFO - 2/1 Roster - 10.5 Hour Days

Our client, an established engineering consultancy, is seeking an Instrumentation Supervisor to support one of their major greenfield mineral sands projects. This is a critical role, as the project is about to commence construction on the process plant and infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the performance, progress, and quality of instrumentation work carried out by contractors.

- Verify that all on-site electrical and instrumentation work meets technical standards and quality expectations.

- Monitor contractors while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project schedules.

- Review and assess incoming electrical and instrumentation engineering drawings, evaluating any schedule impacts resulting from design changes.

- Identify and report quality assurance issues to the engineering team, assisting in the development and implementation of inspection and testing programs to address concerns.

- Conduct regular assessments of physical progress, working alongside contractors to agree on status updates during weekly reviews.

- Ensure all work complies with Australian standards, site safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

- Provide leadership, mentorship,



and technical support to electricians and E&I; technicians.

- Supervise work progress, enforce quality control measures, and ensure deadlines are met.

- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and resolve faults in electrical and control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, motors, and conveyors.

- Work closely with engineering, mechanical, and operations teams to enhance on-site execution and efficiency.

What you'll have:

- Cert II or IV in Instrumentation

- Supervisory experience on large-scale mineral processing projects

- Robust understanding of material handling equipment

- Proficiency with PLC/SCADA systems, VSDs, motor control systems, and high-voltage equipment.
