About the Role As a Disability Support Worker, you will:

- Deliver person-centred support within SIL homes and community settings
- Assist participants with personal care, daily living activities and community access
- Support individuals with complex care needs and behaviours of concern
- Promote independence, choice, dignity and social inclusion
- Provide behavioural and emotional support as required
- Complete accurate documentation and incident reporting
- Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and support teams

About You





- Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker in SIL and/or community settings
- Confident supporting participants with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Reliable, flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 months recent disability support experience
- Experience supporting participants with:
- Challenging behaviours
- Manual handling
- High personal care needs
- Epilepsy management

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Willingness to transport participants as required
- Evidence of at least three (3) COVID-19 vaccinations
- Full Australian working rights
