Lumen Christi College is seeking a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team. The Finance Officer plays a key role in the financial management of the College ensuring accuracy and compliance of all financial areas, including vendor payments and family fee collection.

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing 18 January 2027.

Selection Criteria:

Essential

· An accounting qualification and/or relevant financial and administrative work experience

· Be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties as a member of the Lumen Christi College community

· A minimum of two years’ financial and administrative experience

· Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams

· Accurate data entry skills and a solid attention to detail

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills





· Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

· Ability to work autonomously and within a busy team

· Effective time management

· Have/or obtain a Working with Children Check (WWC)

· Have/or obtain a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check

· Completed, or be willing to complete, Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School.

Desirable

· Experience with AoS, Zycus or working in a school environment

· Have/or obtain a current First Aid certificate
