We’re now seeking motivated Trainee and Licensed Pest Technicians to join our high-performing team.

About the Division

Our Melbourne Residential & Preconstruction branch protects homes at every stage of their life, from the slab up.

Residential: You’ll service homeowners and property managers. The work covers general pest treatments, termite inspections and treatments, bird proofing and sub floor ventilation, with each job ending in clear advice for the customer.

Preconstruction: You’ll work on current home builds and extensions, installing termite management systems during construction. These include physical barriers, chemical soil treatments and reticulation systems. You’ll work closely with builders and site supervisors, fit in with build schedules, and complete the compliance documentation and certification each install requires.

It’s a varied role. One day you might be on a building site with builders, and the next in a family home solving a pest problem.

About the Role

You’ll deliver high-quality pest management services across our residential and preconstruction work, including:

- Conducting thorough inspections and carrying out effective treatments





- Installing termite management systems on new builds to the required standards

- Working with builders and site supervisors to meet construction schedules

- Identifying pest issues and providing informed, practical solutions

- Completing accurate job reports, inspection reports and compliance documentation

- Building strong, long-term relationships with homeowners and building partners

- Representing the Flick brand with professionalism, integrity and pride

Trainees are fully supported through every stage of training and licensing.

About You

We’re open to:

- Trainee Technicians (no experience required, with training and licence included)

- Licensed General Pest or Timber Pest Technicians

You’ll ideally have:

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Comfort working outdoors and on active building sites

- A current, valid driver’s licence

- A White Card, or willingness to obtain one (essential for preconstruction site work)

- A Pest Management Licence (for licensed roles)
